This is the land of the free majority And the home of the brave minority. Tell me, what’s your priority? Bring hell down on those You believe are wrong For their skin or their clothes Or their beliefs or pronouns? Will you allow their blood To continue to soil our grounds? Or will you look at our country And decide to do otherwise? Choose your responsibility And serve by doing what’s right? Speaking of rights, we’re Tired of the constant fight We have to put up to keep them. What are they again, those Words in our national anthem? Land of the free? Home of the brave? I would rather flee Than stay here another day. You cause death, war, bloodshed, Yet you want us to stay? Land of the free majority, Who will now have our government, What’s your priority? Act for yourself, and only yourself, Taking bribes from corporations And banning the books on our shelves In a desperate attempt To hide our history? You cannot be exempt From the actions of our past That you still repeat today. You cannot cast Aside what you disagree with And pretend that we are perfect And our problems are just myth. Do you plan to make us fight To be equal, to Keep our rights? The rights you once promised us That you now try to take away? You cannot hide your madness Underneath the guise of change, Cannot say that this is normal, Cannot say this isn’t strange. It’s more than strange, It’s scary, and what’s worse- You’re just deranged, Living as you wish, Ignoring the laws you set. We have this constant itch To leave, to get out Before our lives are hell Because we’re tired of sitting about And taking your abuse Of our systems, of our laws, of your power. You have no excuse, No justification for what you do, You just do, and the cause for all your actions Is that it’s in your self interest. They’re for you. You’re supposed to reflect our population, Our population is mixed! We’re not a cookie cutter nation Filled with old, straight, white men. We’re full of culture and differences And you will see that when? So, land of the free majority, Who fill up our government… What’s your priority? Home of the brave minority, Who fight every day Against your priorities Of destruction and chaos And cultural cleansing And all you do to brainwash Them and the younger generations. You don’t stand for them, You don’t stand for your nation, You stand for yourself. All of your actions, They just reek of your wealth. The wealth from those who fund you, Who have you in their pockets, You act for the money, it’s what you do. And by doing so ignore those Who so desperately need you the most. They say “that’s just how it goes” Or “the world keeps on spinning” But our world stood still When we heard that you were winning The sick race that feels identical To you fighting for custody of our country. We have the right to be skeptical When you say you have “concepts of a plan”. And you can’t learn from our history Because those are books you’ve banned. And it so it repeats, Like an endless cycle That we’ll never manage to beat, Over and over for eternity. We just want a say in our republic But you erase it with uniformity. Because of you, thousands face death. And as they bleed on your streets They’ll say with their last dying breath, “This is the land of the free majority, And the home of the brave, obscured minorities.”
